Can someone please recomend a replacement motor? Im currently using the stock motor but its starting to sound a bit rough. I would like to upgrade to something that can spin a 12x6 on 3s, doing aerobatic/3d for 6 mins, and not suck too much juice out of my packs????

Two choices. I email Headsup rc. They will sell you one that will fit. They're in Ocala Florida. If you have a hobby shop nearby replace the front bearing. Not hard to do And a lot cheaper. I might be able to find the size.

The stock motor will also spin the 12x6 on 3S quite decently.

That's what I use. Better low end thrust, faster takeoff and better airflow. Still quick but slower. Same amp draw and a little more efficient.

I've used one to fly the Extra as well ever since last April. Including my sortie at the lake with the floats (the lack of top speed pretty much required WOT all the time though and shortened flight times to 4 minutes or so). It's much easier to hover with the 12x6.

I'm now back on the stock prop as two weeks ago as I broke one tip of the 12x6 while taxiing back home. Even with my larger wheels ground clearance on a rough field is a problem with the larger prop.

Still it had been a long time since I used the stock prop, and it was a pleasant rediscovery.

Speed of heat! I still like the look ot the APC prop. Looks like it means business.
