Build Log
1985 Post Sportfisherman

A friend of mine asked if I would build her husband a 46 Post for his 70th birthday.Years ago we all boated together. I tried to recreate it as close as I could.
I started with a hull from Loyalhanna and stick built it from pictures. I was able to take pictures at a local marina and memory.
The scale is 1/12 with the hull being 46" worked great.

Scaling 1' to 1" doesn't always look exactly right so I did some scale modification. I lowered the deckhouse and closed down the window height.

Very nice work George. The hull reminds me of the Dumas Donzi. I like the deck planking. It fits very well. It was very good of you to do this for your friend. Looking forward to seeing it on the water.
