Curtiss P-40C Tomahawk IIB WS120cm

Hello everybody.
I'm building P-40C from EPP foam. Foams was cutted by Marek from www.napolskimniebie.pl

I want to make Tomahawk IIB from 112sqn painting scheme

All parts in the box

And on the floor

Parts 12,13,J are not parts, they are skraps

Fuselage's reinforcement

Tail, and center section are well cut. There no need to correct shape.

robertus You have my attention My favorite WWII Fighter is the P40 B Model which is basically the same as the C Model! That's a very nice Kit! I will follow your Build Thread. I may have to order myself a P40 B / C Kit Where are you going to get a Scale Spinner? The P40 has a one of a kind unique Spinner!

Wing

I cut the ailerons. I'm thinking about flaps like in original P40.
Wing upside down

Very nice work on the wing fairings.

Marek puts out some dandy kits, doesn't he?

Yes, indeed. Soon there will be many warbirds in this scale. Spitfire, P-40C, FW-190, Hurricane MKI, Bf-109D, Bf-109G, PZL-P11 . Who knows, maybe more...

Man-oh-man.

I'm not sure I could resist a P11c in this size.

Good work. I appreciate you taking the time to share your build with us.

I especially like the radiator cowl flaps (photo #2) and the rear vision fuselage cutouts (photo #4). A picture of your foam removal tool would be interesting to me.

Nothing special. Simply stationery knife in few sizes, surgical scalpel and sandpaper.
