Modellbau F-86D with Servos and Gyro
Modellbau F-86D that has been stripped of all of the covering and the wings and tail feathers have been glassed. Jet has been primed and 1st coat of silver has been applied, A few heavy spots in my 1st coat of silver but I am sure a 2nd coat could help clear it up and then you can put your own personal scheme on the 86.
When I purchased the Jet the hole where the wing tube goes through the fuse was drilled out too large by the factory (was this way on all several kits) I fixed that by installing a Brass tube sleeve and it is great now. I have installed a cockpit and pilot and from the factory the jet comes blank so there was no predetermined place for most of the electronics so I have created places to mount all of the electronics as well as created a battery Tray in the nose.

Glue horizontal & Vertical stabs to fuse
Glue Control Horns in
Glue wheel Wells in place
Install Pipe for turbine (only glue 1 former in for this)
Install Fuel Tanks
Install latch 4 canopy
install included Servo's
Drop Tanks are included in the sale as well
So with the $200 and taxes it took to ship the jet here I have over $1650 Invested and I am sure I have forgotten some misc things I have purchased for the jet that would be included in the sale.
Half of me wants to finish the jet because I have already done the hard stuff that challenged this build but the other 1/2 says I can't afford another Turbine (already have 2) so not going to accept any crazy lowball offers, I will keep it on the shelf and finish it one day before I give it away.
Shipping is not an option @ this time, dont want to deal with the hassle with the crate/shipping so sale will be local pickup, I do travel up towards Philadelphia for work occasionally so could possibly arrange drop off/pickup between NC & PA. If I dont get any bites for local pickup I will consider shipping but would not4be cheap

I asked that same question when i purchased it because my field is grass and modellbau said yes, the trailing link struts helped quite a bit.
Are you going to the first in Flight Jet rally in Wilson NC, would be a great excuse to drive up to NC!
