Nose Gear

Here is the nose gear from Sierra. What a piece of art. You can get an idea of the size next to my DX9 transmitter. Received this less than 48 hours after I ordered it.

Wood delivered

Here is the full wood kit from National Balsa. The laser cutting appears to be top notch and the quality of the wood is very good. Ordered this on Tuesday and it was delivered on Friday. Great service.

Starting to layout the wing. Spliced the basswood wing spars and cut to length. Found one rib from the laser cutting that was not per the plans but not a big deal. Overall everything fits well.

A door from Home Depot works well to build on. Very straight and only $24.

Thanks for having me

I use a door for my build bench as well. Works a treat.

How do you plan on finishing this one. Are you doing it as a 150 or an aerobat.

I think I'll do it as a 150. Going to use the N number of the 150 that I soloed.

Thanks. Having fun building again. It's been quite a few years since I've built from plans.
