Pan Tilt Ball Turret Gimbal $50. 00 plus shipping

Pan / Tilt Ball Gimbal comes with your option of bases.

Snub Nose Base opens the field of view for extreme down tilt

Aerodynamic Base is concentric on both sides, so it is more aerodynamic.

Pan / Tilt Ball Gimbal is designed to take HS65 Servos on both Pan and Tilt.

Presently the Ball gimbal is only designed for board cameras without hard case. PZ0420

In the tilt only version

I prefer the looks of the short base, but realistically the tall one will set it down away from the view of the props.

My preferred color configuration for a dark frame is the white ball with the black base. It just looks nice.

Tilt version with the tall base is aproximately 35.5g - 38g.

I've seen about a 2 1/2 g. variance between builds and pigmented materials.

Nice one- great to see some innovation.

These would look really cool mounted on a retractable arm, lowering out the bottom of a plane too.
-or as a clean and tidy nose turret.

I have been thinking of a way to do the nose turret. I will have the pan / tilt finished today, and can start on that one.

I've got a good working version of the Pan / Tilt.

I have two options, and I will outline them in the second post.

Her is a pic

Nose Turret

I'm on my second revision of the nose turret, and It's pretty good, but I'm not happy with it.

So I'm going to take a different approach, and re design it...

Not yet.

My flying buddy is a bit busy these days, but I hope to have it installed on his wing very soon.

I plan to put the nose gimbal in my plane, but not until it is completely redesigned.

I'm pretty happy with the progress of the Nose Turret

I still need to hook it up, and test it.
