Awesome, I think you could probably package it nicely as a kit, and even include the parts needed for the great nose gear door method you suggest (two hinges, hair bungee). I would buy one in a second!

Mach 80mm EDF news....

The latest batch of Mach 80mm EDFs arrived yesterday. Most, current orders for these will be shipped tomorrow (Monday).
The units requiring labor (assy) will go out by the middle of the week.
(If your order was int'l, you will receive your EDF one week before Christmas )

The bad news is that they are sold out, and will remain on a preoder basis, until the next shipment.

Please preorder to be sure you get the next available unit.

There hasn't been enough inquires to make them in qty. There is not a carbon fiber nose door at this time. I used the full door supplied with the Habu32 kit.

If you want just the mains, we can make a few sets, including the nose door hinges and bungy.

NOTE: My mains and nose door setup is for use with stock E-Flite struts only.

Now that I took a look at the nose door, I have an idea.

Please go ahead an lay up a few sets of mains, and well see how it goes.

Thanks for looking out for me AS!

BTW, Today I talked with a Lt Col who works out at PDM. He is a blue suiter who flies test and delivery depot missions and flies both the B-2 and T-38. Being from CA, my wife would be thrilled if we got this job one day, plus I would be close to all that lake bed flying you guys get to do .

there might be openings for Test pilots too as we have some oldies but goodies,they cant fly forever ya never know where you'll end up .
