region 3's for seawinds is the weekend after next, and my co worker, the fancy picture taking guy is going to come by to test out his new telephoto lens. So I'll be posting those as soon as I get them.. The Round Ranger hull is almost ready to go off to the printers...

yeah... that sponsorship thing... the boat is getting a professional vinal wrap with the breweries logo and colors.. using the motif of the six pack basket graphics... specifcly the golden ale, so the boat will be dubbed the "Golden 1"
here is the ace sloop as it currently stands.

and here is the prototype graphics for the sponsord RG65 round ranger

the color sweep will come up from the water line 3/4's from the stern with the unicorn logo being bisected by the diaginal line. after that going to the stern will be the Legend Script with Drink, and Beer up forward, and under aft of the word legend.
the unicorn logo on the bottom panel of the mcrig sail rig.

Alright, as promised, pretty boat pictures.

These are from the Seawind region 3 regatta that took place over this past weekend here in Richmond.

Eleven boats and skipper participated at the event on Lake Rooty.

More to come.

Great pics from Richmond. Please post up more of that beautiful 88 boat. Those are great pics. How many did the photog take, and will they be on a flickr site (or similar photo sharing site)? I was able to get the pics Bobbi took off her camera before we left. She took alot of great shots as well.

We from the Greensboro club had a blast up there over the weekend. Your club put on a top notch event, and we appreciated the invite.

btw, dude was a big fan of #88, so there should be a lot of them floating around on his memory card. be sure to post some of y'alls pics to the gallery as well.

I took a bunch of pics from my cell phone with the GOOD camera app, but compared to Aarons pics? a little embarrassing

I also took some video of a couple of the races, and the cam takes 780p, mostly HD.
my youtube channel is under "beergnome"

They sure are! Great pictures. Anyone who doesn't RC sail would want to if they saw those. Looks like a nice day of weather too.

It really was a great weekend for the event, low 80's, sunny, fair winds with a few nice gusts thru out. good racing pace.

you really couldn't ask for a prettier weekend for an event like that.

Just chatted with Mr. Sanders, and hopefully he'll have some more pics processed tonight or tomorrow. Dude leaves the brewery every afternoon to go sling boxes for UPS till 10 or 11 at night.

When the Legend brewery team boat is ready I'll drag him out to the pond for some publicity shots, and hand him the remote and see if I can't get him hooked

Thanks for the pics boomer, really great shots. I'm negotiating for a Seawind right now and these make me more determined to get the deal done.

I did my fall trip to Trout Lake today.
The drought is really bad around here, McPhee is 60 feet down and just a puddel.
Even Trout was very low.
Trout Lake lays at Lizzard Head Pass in Southwest Colorado over 10.000 feet elevation.
I had the lake for myself, in the middle of nowhere on a sunny fall day, 43 degree and at times very pleasant winds, pleasure.
