Great Northwest Slope Soaring Sites
A friend will be making a round trip from Denver to North central Ca. up through Oregon and back thru Idaho to Denver this summer. He would like to know in advance some great slope sites to visit on the way. In particular he wants to go to the site above the Columbia where they had the JR aerotow a few years back. Were old guys and for the life of us we can't remember where that was! He wants grass slopes & landing zones and big air...sort of like what we see in the Alps videos.
Any Ideas?? What time of year would be good.
