Edit: Direct Steering Conversions have been done to the ARx Chassis. None of them looked considerably quicker in the race.

If I was there you'd see it mate. Not only beat the ARX but embarrass it. .

I'm yet to see a ARX do this sort of jump on a track.

No doubt we would have a great race and some good bench racing. By the way I didn't miss the corner, there is another jump after that one. I had a bigger motor in for the jump video though.

Thanks Gartenzwerg. We should be getting racing going here this year. The first meeting is next weekend although I'm the only one with a bike yet. The president of the club and his son will be getting some soon and hopefully others will follow. Cool .

..you did not understand how the ARX/Ricky steering system works.

I do know how it works or dont work, The bike has no inbuilt stability like I said and needs that heavy gyro, I ran my Anderson at work today just to compare the two and I could run it so slow without it falling onto the bars even with the gyro spooled right down, I have in the summer ran it without the gyro, the Anderson gyro spools up quick and is lighter you can put the bike where you want it, where I find with the arx you have to rev the nuts off the thing to get the gyro to spool up and trying to keep that gyro working in a small area is nearly impossible, I guess if you are running flat out on a track all the time the arx will work but I like to be able to run the bike slow as well, none of the new bikes have this rocker type steering anymore, would like to see arx change it

I have to agree, I think its time the ARX was updated and redesigned with the latest advances in RC motorcycles. They seem to try and improve the gyro to help the bike but I think it needs more than that to work better again. Tyres, inserts, chassis, steering and forks and rear shock all need some improvement as far as I'm concerned. I looked at the ARX at the LHS several times and also the Anderson and put my bucks down on the MM. Chris N has designed a bike that works on slippery dirt to grass to asphalt straight out of the box. With a few small tweaks and mods the bike is great on the RC track. Here's a small vid of how precise you can be with the MM.

Like I said this an ARX thread,I dont know why other bikes are here, I am so dissapointed with the Arx bike it looks good but design is so out of date, mine is up for sale as cant see £150 electric gyro will improve the bike, I just cant pull that rear wheel apart again
