My Newest Build: SPAD Edge 540 G2
Thought I should share what I am working on right now. Its almost done and hoping to maiden this weekend. All that remains is the paintjob and some final touchups on the wing, canopy and cowl area.
Materials: 4mm Fuse and 2mm Wing Wingspan 56.5" AUW with a 3000mah 4S battery is around 4.1 pounds. |

Thanks Guys
 I can measure it for you if you are interested. Will do after a successful maiden hopefully  Finished her up and ready for maiden. Will do the remaining paintjob after the maiden. And after few mods to strengthen her up a bit, the new AUW is around 4# 10oz (2.2Kg I guess). Still its way under the predicted weight of 5#

Finished half of the paintjob, took her to the field but weather didn't co-operate as a very bad sandstorm started last day  Might be able to try again tomorrow.And by the way, this is a single detachable wing setup experimental build. The canopy and the single wing piece are secured using 64 size rubber bands to make the build easier. And the leading edge is another experiment where I can get any sort of roundness to it. Will add more details to the thread once I get it up in the air
