I saw that in my Facebook feed. Wow! And with AS3X even. That should be one stable big bird.

Horizon is on a roll lately I think.

So, $370ish for PNP and $399 for BNF? Ha, I think I know which one I'm going for! Don't think that's a pricing mistake do yah?

Wish I could get this. Already put money down for a DX9, and I don't think I wanna switch...Oh well.

The only difference between the two versions is the AS3X sport Rx that is included with the BNF Basic.

I'm not so much a scale guy but for some reason I want this plane. Has to be the size, price and that video... WOW.

Problem with these cubs is the hassle mounting the wings when you arrive at the field.

I have a few 5s batteries that I'll want to try before I spend the money on 6s.

I mean, how much power does a cub need?

Yeah but it's a $100 Rx. A $20 difference in price seems weird, but a no-brainer if it's correct. I'd pay $20 more for the $100 Rx!!

They got it right this time though! A BIG carbon Z-Foam plane at a good price. Wish they could have done this with the Hurricane. I'm hoping this means there's some really sweet warbirds coming down the line soon.

This looks fantastic, and of course comes at a time when I'm trying to sell off a ton of my planes to keep it simple. Love seeing the video of it prop hanging, I think it was with floats too. Plane, two batteries, and floats will be about $500.00 I think. Steep for foam, but it should be a quality product. Big sucker! Love the paint scheme too.

My jaw just dropped when I stumbled across this monster! Goodbye FunCub, hello Carbon-Z Cub! Holy crap this thing looks amazing.....plus it looks like the float kit has a water rudder (can see it in part of the video).

Have they given an estimated release date for this?

I didn't see a date. Did I miss the wingspan?

84.5" wingspan.

Man I'm a sucker for cubs. Especially when they have tundra tires.

I think 5 cells would be more than adequate.

8.5 lbs seems pretty good to me considering my 1/4 scale is 18.5 pounds. I think they list the wingloading at 17 oz/ sq ft.

Due late October.

Yes, the floats have a water rudder with pre-installed servo.
