Hi folks, my Christmas present to myself................
Couldn't live with the troll in the cockpit so started doing some *improvements* still standoff scale but better I hope..........I have got the elec set up to swing a scale 4 blader !!! 6 S , 310- kV motor.....2 x 3-cell 5000 Mah Lipos (series).....80 amp ESC ..still need a good 3.75" 4 blade spinner...but will fly with the supplied one with two extra slots cut for now.......... Anyway, enjoying the process...she is a hybrid of the bubble top version doing the rounds (markings etc etc )....and a high back , but what the heck.. :-) Ray |

Looks awesome! Yep, I hope you like using your rudder during take offs!! At least you know there's going to be some torque and you'll be ready for it.
Have you got much ground clearance with the prop? |

Ii was wondering about ground clearance, looks great static. Be very interested to hear how the maiden goes, I reckon you're going to have your hands full!

Ground clearance...
Well you guys got me thinking.....I was maybe bit *gung ho* with the prop....I *thought* it would be ok for ground clearance........it was bothering me so I temporarily fitted the main U/C and tail wheel. PHEW what a relief...
As long as I don't hang about too long "tail up" on takeoff...I think I should be OK....I aiming at 2100 Watts with this aeroplane, so will have the poke to get off quickly.. Not a lot but as long as the grass is reasonable  Happy landings all..... Ray |

Got me one of these for a bargain price last night.
Looking forward to getting it together and in the air. Might be a year or two, as there is a queue of models to be built. But it looks like a good choice |
