i have heard horror stories of ebay used trucks being well.... used up for lack of a better term . and them telling you there like new . so beware besure you ask the right questions when you buy used .

Yeah, if you're looking for under 50$, you're going to have to go used. Check out your local kijiji or craigslists - there might be some micros on those

or better yet why not ensure that the car will work and buy new. unlike the larger stuff the micro's can be bought new for $80-$100. not that much for ensuring it will work and that it hasn't been abused.

new is always best with these unless your a seasond vet like my self as i dont mind working on the making the the way i want . but for just starting new is the way to go as they even come with the batterys for the controler . complete ready to run .

if you have to spend more than 50 dollars anyway, why not just wait and go for the mini-t. you will get bored of the mirco, as there is only so much you can do with it.

at least with the mini-t you can take it to a 1/10 track.

micro-t=indoors
mini-t=indoor/outdoor

you choose,i guess if your just driving indoor on cardboard tracks then the micro t is fine.

plus changing parts is a night mire becuase its some small, at least if your hands are big like mine are.

But i'm not saying you have to, just giving you some feedback/comments.

well i agree and disagree that you can do more with the micros. you can make tracks, jumps, bridges, just about any obsticale and run em and take em with you anywhere.

ya but there useless on a decent dirt track. Like i said, great for indoors. i just can see a point to them for outdoor use. they are boring on the street because they are slow and small. but the indoor possibilities are endless. anything from bathtubs to jumping stairs...

i guess they could be cool in a skate park, but any rc is cool in a skate park.

peace

yeah they are limited outdoors. but even then with aftermarket parts they can hit 50mph.

Ya, True. I don't think i would want to be driving a micro-t at 50mph. one little steer twitch and your rolling half way down the street. lol.

Tats ridicules, a micro that is designed for off-road doing 50. shows how far the hobby has come. a while back, most nitro 1/10 could hardly do 50.

ya, i think they hit 20 with a lipo upgrade. I don't doubt it can hit 50, im just saying that thats pretty crazy for its size.
