Yeah they tend to "wear out" a lot slower at higher altitude.

...and if you have an un-obstructed view of the plane at that altitude.... as I recently learned.

well, I got the wood to make a new firewall and was ready to make the repair, but HQ have overnighted me a motorbox kit for some silly reason also... anyways, should have flying plane by Sunday

Glad you will have her up for Sunday. I was sitting eating dinner this evening and going over a checklist in my head, for the stuff I need to load for Sunday. When I got on here I saw your post and it let all the Air out of my tires. as I read on my air filled back up or low.

president of our club says he is preparing for a cook out as well... so feel free to bring the catering :-)

as for losing a plane in our corn fields..... the battle is only a 1/3 over after finding the plane..... getting out is the best part :-)
