heres polaris #30 that i build right after the polaris 29 that i posted here, everything was build the same but covered with econo kote

then the drongo i build using foam tac which is a 79% version of original
both done with the foam tac glue hinges, everyone love the hinge setup at the field when they saw it

polaris maiden (2 min 15 sec)

79% drongo testing (2 min 8 sec)

What do you like better pete , the drongo or Polaris?

both!!! both have there own flying charicteristic

drongo is a more
"yank and bank" type of plane cuz its elevon control and very limited on things you can do but she flys like almost any wing type plane fun

Polaris is a great "all weather and ground" type of plane that can do anything and everything
land n take off on grass, concrete,ice,snow,water,mud and a VERY stable flier.
many get mess up flying the polaris cuz the do the controls too high so it become VERY twitchy. so when setting up make sure to dail it down and add expo to have a nice flying polaris.

drongo is MUCH easier to buld whele the polaris has many more parts, example, it take me about 6 hour to make a polaris and it took me 2 hour to make the drongo

i say build both!!!!! you have fun!!! really

made another mini drongo for a field member, it was a big hit there!!!
this time i foam tac the canopy also like Eric did on his battery hatch, GREAT idea Eric!!!!


also, the polaris and drongo i build last week , the foam tac hinge was made with taping up the surface and using a credit card and squeeze out the extra

this time i run a bead on the top part of the 45 degree cut on both the wing and airlions then touch them together then pull them apart for a min then reattch it and wipe off exceese glue on top, 10-15 min later it was nice and tight!!! and move very freely
