RCPowers F18B V3

Not sure if there is another thread on this subject, I didn't find one so here goes. I bought the RCPowers Scratchbuild package and have finished up my first build from it. The F18B V3 this plane was surprisingly easy to build, went together very quickly and seems to be very straight. I am going to try and maiden in the morning if the wind stays down tonight, and if its not to cold. 4 years ago I would have flown even if there was snow and ice on the ground but not now.
Anyway here is a pic, built out of Blucore as you can see.
2200 mah 3s batt
30amp mystery esc
Power Up Zoom 370 2600 kv
APC 6x4 E
Tower Pro 9 gram servos
AUW 17oz.

Nice, looks easy to build... Might do this one, I still have a lot of blue FFF and the power kit is right in my "wheel house". What prop are you using? Let us know how she flies.

I knew I forgot to put something in the specs, using APC 6x4E. As soon as I can maiden I'll post a note and hopefully video, got the camera charged if I can remember to take it and my hat to stick it on.

Okay, maiden went extremely well, other than my camera shutdown about halfway through the maiden. But, the rest of the flight went well even though the trim tabs in my radio are in bad need of being changed out. parts on the way.
landed and it was one of the best landings I can say of any plane I have ever flown, especially on a maiden. Brought her around about 3 feet off the deck cut the power and she dropped straight down without even a bounce in the 1 1/2 inch tall grass, not even a sound I could hear when she sat down from 10 feet.
Got the radio trimmed out better, 4 clicks up, and then took out the left aileron I had added before, threw her back in the air and flew till my thumbs were so cold I had no feeling in them.

Went and bought a new camera, will get more video soon. Maybe this evening, I think my 5 or 6 year old Chinese camera just could not take the cold anymore. But, it was a good one other than never being able to change the date, I shot a lot of video at sub zero temps with it. Check them at my old YouTube channel if you want Youtube user, RcCrashJack.
Don't know why this thing will not allow me to post smiley's or frownies.

Building the F35B V3 now, almost ready to put the lower fuse and nose piece together. Have the spar drying in the wing so it will not be long till I can start the assembly in earnest.
Pics soon.

These are some of the easiest building airframes I have ever cut out, This one had a whole 12 parts I had to cut and glue.

Well, flew the F35B this morning and got some more time with the F18B, F117 is still on the table the Music wire I got yesterday is too small. The control rods on it have some bends in them and they are very long so I need to get some that is stiffer. Will try and pick some up today so that I can have her ready in the morning and try to maiden.
