F-18 lookalike for indoors?
My lovely wife for our anniversary bought me a cool looking little F-18 lookalike. It's a twin pusher two channel foamy that weighs right around 2 oz. ready to fly. I've done a search on RC Groups but nothing showed a thread on the Estes X-81
No matter what I try, the darned thing is dead out of the box. I've tried new batteries, checked the instructions, got a full charge but it just will not power up!
I normally would just send it back but she bought it over a month ago from online and they won't allow this.
So, my mission now is to change out the radio system and make it fly 3 channel using taileron and throttle. My local flying club the Diablo Valley Radio Controllers has been flying once a month in a local gym. I'd like to be able to get this plane to fly there as well.
What would you recommend for ESC, servos, and Rx?
