Since Trenz is from Germany we Eupeans even don't have to worry about shipping costs...
That'll lower the costs for a fully featured copter extremely.

oh many thanks guys. For the moment i am for a job in luebeck, not far away from hamburg but i am in a hotel, will be back tomorrow and will investigate further in the gps thing when i am back on my pc. at least i can celebrate my birthday with good colleagues.

They have UPS only, UPS Standard will cost €6.83 for shipment to Germany.

btw - luebeck has one big advantage - its at the seaside

very nice, its really very nice from you all.its my 31st birthday so i may should have used to it. i didnt had the time to visit the seaside here, lots of work in my job, also have no copter here. my colleague thought of taking a rc plane with us but he didcant wait to get back to my mill to feed her with some files for the next frame. the gps thing is great i will investigate.

mein erstes Post hier im Forum und da möchte ich mich bei Allen bedanken die dieses Projekt möglich machten und weiter ausbauen.

Glückwünsche nachträglich an Paul und Alles Gute.

Nun zu meinen Fragen, benutze das Flyduino mit WMP und BMA020, soweit so gut.

1. Motor starten funktioniert aber Motor abschalten nicht, auf was muß ich da achten?

2. habe mir ein serielles Display von Spark ADM1602U zugelegt, dieses soll gemäß Plan an die serielle Schnittstelle 3 angeschlossen werden, an 5V, GND und TX, aktivieren mit den Sticks Gier rechts, Nick unten, aber es tut sich nicht's. Außer das sich das Display initialisiert wenn es die 5V erhält ist anschließend auf dem Display nicht's zu sehen.

3. Wie im Diagram und auch noch mal von Berkley erwähnt kommen die Roll-, Nickservos der Cameramounts an die Anschlüsse 45 und 46.


Habe ich die Anschlüsse richtig eingezeichnet?

Wenn ja, so habe ich dort an den Anschlüssen keine Spannung, weder an 44, 45 oder 46.
Ich versorge die Platine über ein Regler (Brücke ist drin).
Kann es sein das ich für diese Funktion die Anschlüsse des LiPos benutzen muß?

It seems min throttle is configured the wrong way, have you checked it in the soft?

Have to investigate further, you are sure the right serial is choosen? Also you didnt switched the tx rx.

I dont know exactly if these pins are allready used (but i think this can also be changed manually in multiwii soft), atm some analog in are choosen, but there will be a change in the future.


There is a pin called bec right between the pin of the 5V regulator, i didnt connect it to the 5V line, cause i think its better to power them seperepate and not on the same line as the CPU to prevent spikes from the servos.
You can of course make a simple bridge to the pin between voltage regulator out and servo pewer in (called BEC), if you take small servos.
Otherwise i would pullout a 5V pin from one ESC and connect it to this BEC Pin, this would be a quite sensefull config.
You also can use a exteral switching supply on this BEC pin, which should be sensefull for big ampere hungry servos.

kommst eventuell nicht weit genug hoch oder runter mit dem jeweilig zum schalten nötigen wert in der GUI.
neutral soll ~1500 sein, links 1000 und rechts 2000
vllt throttle geht nicht weit genug runter, um den min-wert (<=1000) zu erreichen
wenn du nicht nah genug an den 1000/2000 -werte rankommst, und gleichzeitig mit throttle den minimum wert bei ~1000 erreichst kannst den motor nicht stoppen oder andere Tx-kommandos nicht ausführen.
kannst entweder die einstellung in der fernbedienung anpassen (z.b. Weg pitch, throttle auf 120%), oder die nullstellung in der arduino-software ändern, falls der Weg lang genug, aber nicht mittig ist.




check servo range in GUI
servo range in GUI should be from 1000-2000, neutral has to be very near to 1500 (if not altered in firmware)
if servo range is too small in GUI, the arduino doesnt switch motors on or of, because he/it doesnt get that command
