Problem is, now that a couple different photos of the X8 have spent 2-3 day each featured in the Hot Pics
section of the Rcgroups home page, you guys will be competing with non-FPV pilots to buy em.

when the X8 comes back in stock I plan on trying to snatch one up! I was looking at possible power setups and I think I found one. I know the X8 can handle A LOT of weight so id rather have an over powered setup I will be using a 3cell setup and am looking for a higher Kv rating for some speed.

SPINNER

ESC

I also plan to see how strong the stock setup is and I think I will FiberGlass the whole thing (or at least the wings) as i have a 300foot roll of 3/4oz FG and it should also make it a little bit faster.

Just a thought, if the next batch are going to be black EPO, does that mean the first 50 white EPO ones will be the ONLY white ones? If so, heck, these white suckers are going to become pretty rare, very quickly - might have to hold on to mine 'unmade'

This is the X-56A. It "will explore active control technology for potential use in future high-altitude, long-endurance (HALE) reconnaissance"
and
"The X-56A flying wing will also later be flown by NASA, and is an innovative modular unmanned air vehicle designed to test active flutter suppression and gust load alleviation."
