the viper is absolutely fantastic. it goes together in a couple hours. flying weight is 31 oz. with an 8 cell 1700 pack it will fly full throttle for about 7 min. and with a little throttle management even longer. handles like its on a rail, and runs close to 60 mph. will do anything a zagi will do but with authority. dollar for dollar this thing just cant be beat. the best part is that you can buy it today and fly it tommorrow. no back order. this thing is a real bang for the buck.

it comes with motors, props, speedcontrol, wiring harness to wire motors to speed control, 8cell 1300 bat pack which can be upgraded for a couple bucks, and even servo extensions, if you check out other kits this plane just cant be beat. as far as im concerned the zagi is no match for the viper. not even close. finally theres a new kid on the block. VIPER!!!!!!! get one, ya wont be disapointed.

Just a small point to avoid confusion. There are several planes that have been named the Viper. I believe you are both talking about the Viper Twin which is a great plane. It flies so well it will even fly with one of the Gunter props on backwards. Don't ask me how I know that. Michael Heer

I would not combat a Viper Twin.

They are good planes but they are not designed for combat.

The main reason for this is the small servos they recomend. Hitec HS 50's if I remember right. These will strip in a heartbeat in combat or even not so gentle landings.

Mine had a nasty tendency to tip stall in low lift conditions. I am still testing my modifications but I think I have fixed all the faults and have come up with a plane I am more comfortable with.

One thing I cannot fault is the owners genuine concern for his customers and their opinion of his product. He worked with me in the past and I truely appreciate his concern in my opinion. After I am finished with my testing I will share my info with him and see if he can improve on an already nice flying platform.
