Well, I'm probably going to end up picking one up. Not quite yet as all the ponds here in CO are frozen right now. I couldn't stand having it and not being able to sail.

Im considering this boat for my second sail boat. But Id love the feedback of more experienced individuals before I take the plunge. (im a chicken) LoL

well.... I just ordered one from tower with a $40 off promotional discount and free shipping, so I thought that was a pretty good deal, the free shipping they offer though takes a couple weeks usually, but when it does arrive I'll post some pics here for you guys.

also, yea... that manual was a pretty big download but it's nice to see what your getting, glad I did see it cause it looks like the servo arm will not work, looks like you need a winch servo type, hull is to narrow for the arm.

page 10 and 13 in manual. Also.... a question.... what is "Volans" other then a constillation, I have googled this and have not found anything on this pertaining a sailing sponsor/racing team???

dont agree with your comment about thunder tigers sail boats , ive an older mrp version of australia 2 with its winged keel which i enjoy sailing ! ive a mate who sails a micro magic with me whos currently tempted to buy one of these tris .

I just ordered one tonight from Tower. I only have one other boat, TT ETNZ haha
Ive been happy with it, just needs some work to get it where it can handle the wind.


Oh if you want the ETNZ to sail properly you got to get some better sails.

Will be gettin one when money allows ( big when ) Really want some of the uk shops to get them in stock so can have a ganders, cant wait to see you guys buildin them and sailing vids

Well.... to my surprise tonight at dinner time the Brown Truck showed up at my door with "The Box!"

much faster shipping then expected, thank you Tower!!

So I dragged it in the basement and took some photos to share with you guy's as I opened it!! very well packed - the boat box was in a outer box with air pillow surrounding, no damage at all...HURRAY!!!

here we go....
