MKS 6100 servo

I would just like to make you guys aware of these great little servos. When I was building my team 3.8 X2 I got some input on equipment from some different sources and settled on these 6100's.

These were the smallest servos I have had in a J model to date and was a bit unsure. After flying them for about 4 months hard I love them. No blow back that I can see, plenty fast, and the price! Im running these on every thing but elev (6125H)

.11 sec
46 oz/in
9.5 gram
$40

No problem picking servos for my next ship.
Thanks MKS
Jody

Jody, what voltage are you running with them?

I second Jody on the 6100's. I have them in quite a few planes as well. I run my planes on 4 cell nimh packs (eneloop). Plenty durable, I fly alot...

I've been using them in all my ALES planes with the BEC set to 5.0 volts. Glad to hear you guys are running them directly off a 4 cell pack without issue.

Jody,

You're using them on the flaps too, that's impressive.

That was my mind set. I thought that's not going to cut it, but they have been great. The 6100's played a big part of this 3.8 coming out at 54oz too. Loving it!

6100

Howdy,

Here is a skunk works pic of something to make these little 6100's even better for the sailplane wing application. We should have these available in 10 days or so...
Should be "about" 11.99 each..

Best,
Bob

Yeah the 6100 is a great, cost effective, small light servo. They are very tight.

I'm using them with Fu-Fix outboard bearings in my Stinger F3F/B

and they're doing a great job on aileron. Not sure I'd use them on flap though.

Bob,

Love that little mount with the shaft bearing!

Is MKS working on a HV version of the 6100?

6100 hv

Stefano,
Thomas tells me that MKS is "working" on it...
Hopefully Thomas and MKS will come up with another winner!
