Nate, I just saw a picture and heard about that boulder that crashed into a house there. You don't live close to there do you?

a car and two unicycles?

I took delivery of my new 51 slick today. I spent a couple hours on the build. I got the tail feathers hinged and the pull-pull rudder set up. Got the ailerons glued on the wings. So that leaves three control surfaces to set up and electronics, cowl, and landing gear. Shouldn't take more than another couple hours or so to finish it up. Maybe I'll be able to maiden her on Friday

I saw that boulder on the news, Talk about your GOOD MORNING call

I rode a unicycle a few times in my life someone suggested it after watching me pop wheelies all the time they said you should just get a unicycle,,,, So I tried a few and thought Wayyyyyy too much pedeling lol needless to say I wasn't good at it either lol

DOG Glad to hear the surgery went well, bummer to find more to have to fix though, I guess better to find out now than find out something is still wrong a month from now only to discover it.

Frozen keister in the outhouse "Priceless" LOL

Brathanke Great news and congrats on the new slick I hope you do get to maiden it on Friday Hmm maybe you will have some maiden Videos for us this weekend to go along with Waynes Jet maiden too

Wayne How was your beef

HONDA I liked the Bike but thats about it.... lol

Well all of a sudden a simple repair has me completely restoring my Sky Raider as the covering on the on I owned one of the first to come out, was called Toughlon, Well the clear part of the covering separates from the paper backing pretty easily so basically all the wood on the nose of the plane is saturated with oil so I have now stripped all the paper off it and plan to cote it all in flat clear lustercote to dry it up and give the next covering a chance at staying on. I don't like toughlon they should call it crapon, so a simple hour project I have turned into a completely remove all the covering and give it a brand new scheme, nothing fancy or anything so its still pretty easy but that Toughlon is tough to get off the plane as the paper is like glued to the wood but its all damp almost like glued on with now protective covering so its killing the frame work, Not anymore though shes all naked now. LOL

Waldo, I remember you showing me that covering......that stuff was terrible! So you're busy at the bench finally? All the jobs for relatives and friends finished up? Sweet! I'm looking forward to seeing pics of various stages of completion.....how about it?

DOG.....so the prognosis is good for all family members then?

The Ford dealership has yet to call informing us that the car is repaired! The last I heard they had a bitch of a time finding the part (spring)! I suppose it ain't too bad.....I'm driving a year newer loaner, putting miles on it and using their gasoline! The cost of this repair goes down with every mile I put on their loaner! Let's hope the part don't come for another month!

Loved the ice-statue pic of the Yooper in the outhouse! Mistook it for a photo of me in the crapper at the huntin' camp! Which reminds me of this dude that showed up as a guest one huntin' season many years ago.......we were having a cold snap and this guy asks: "How do know your ass won't freeze to the seat when you go take a dump in the outhouse?" One of the guys piped up: "You blow your warm breath on it before you sit down!" Wouldn't you know it.......one of the guys looks out the window minutes later and sees this guy with his mouth mere millimeters away from the seat trying to warm it with his breath! (We didn't get around to putting a door on that outhouse for some seven years after it was built!) When the guy walked in the door some time later the whole camp erupted in laughter! What a putz!
