Beautiful January morning here in Champaign, 48 degrees, 10 mph winds and rain, beats snow. Just as it became light enough to see I was able to get a couple flights in as the rain let up. 4+ minutes of continuous loops, cuban eights and just the shear cool of listening to it go by. Mid way through the second flight the rain came back, that stunk. I had to step down from my covered porch into the rain to pick it up.

Now on You Tube. Check ou the power that makes it capable of consecutive loops for the entire flights duration. Consistantly radar gunned at 43mph average upwind and down wind.

I am very happy to see that the servos being used in the GP F-86 are conventional and not linear. In my experiences the conventional servos are much faster than the linear servos. Linear is great for a slow flyers, but in faster airframes they lack the neccessary speed and precision.

My thoughts exactly, I was going to say they were slacking, but it looks like they now have a Mig coming out! What a cool time to be in this hobby.

Today is my birthday(really)..... Since neither is out yet... I have to buy both when they do arrive.

Does anybody find it odd that competing companies debut with opposing jets? its like our own little cold war!

I'd rather have the Sabre, although it would be eve cooler if it was a "CF 86 Sabre, Goldenhawk"

I can live with this

For me, the combination of having a tiny jet flying around as well as being powered by a ducted fan that has that micro whoosh sound is just the best!
