Perhaps it was nose heavy and needed to shed a little weight up front.

Guessing things got a little out of control on pavement.

Can't help but notice one of the pics that shows this carb has a pulse line leading to it - which likely means it's got a built in pump. Interesting.....

That makes the 10cc engine the only one not available pumped. What's that about Horizon? Where is the pump carb for the Evo 10?

It is missing
the prop drive washer, washer and prop nut too. That makes me suspect that the crank end may not be all that straight though. Looks like the engine skidded down the runway on the head. I'm also broke off the muffler pressure fitting too.

It wouldn't have a fitting if it's a pumper Earl. Think they just plug the hole in the muffler, Shoo

Good point, I missed that at first. I had to look at the pics more closely.
That is a really nice little pumper regulated carburetor on that engine though. But in my opinion, the carb isn't worth a hundred bucks though. Not sure if the engine is any good of course.

When I think about it. That 8cc engine comes on their RTF trainer plane. I can expect lots of those engines and stuff to be showing up for sale over time. Some in worse shape and some maybe almost new.

You know that they put the 8cc gas engine in a P51 Mustang and they call it a trainer no less. I remember numerous neophytes getting P51 Mustangs and trying to fly them once. The plane usually survives for about 5 seconds maybe. So we ought to be seeing lots of these engines showing up for sale pretty soon.
I don't see a P51 airplane as being a trainer for a newbie.

That airplane has their SAFE flight stabilization. I don't think you could make it crash hard enough in beginner mode even if you tried.
