It looked like his exhaust was at 100% fsa
What is a good exhaust diameter to suggest to him. It's a Dynamax on 10S

If that's Waynes 106 ask him to get me the installed thrust and amps... I measured >12lbs at 3600 watts on the bench (vertical stand)

It shouldn't have limped up in the air with only 17lbs auw

He's also not using all the stators that a dynamax can use so that's going to affect efflux..

Just saw it again, was this the first flight?

When I talked to Wayne he said it was tail heavy and he couldn't build up good speed...

Interesting...as I watched the vid I was thinking the plane is nose heavy..too much up elevator holds the plane in a nose high angle and wont allow it to get on step and just plows along

2" seems like a big swing in cg.I remember seeing one of these try to fly back in the glow days at a BITW jet meet at Edwards.......it would not hardly fly.this one flew pretty good once it rotated..if the gear!was move fwd it might come off the ground better.

TN as I watch the video again it lost alt on every turn. That is another tell tale nose heavy sign.what was the first flight like . maybe start moving the cg back bit by bit.also I have found that models with Delta wing like a air foil with lots of reflex in them.

Wayne said he was going half throttle after take off and doing a lot of trimming in the flight

Then on landing he dropped power and it dropped it's butt and landed at a aggressive slope...

Sounds still tail heavy by his description; drop power then the plane drops towards the heavy side of the center of lift

Cells were at 3.82 a cell on landing so he wasn't punching it in the air

Can't wait to see this thing fly with it all trimmed out

Tail heavy does not work that way!. The only real effect is pitch instability. The plane will hunt up and down as the pilot try to chase it and keep up in the air.The tail low sink was due to low airspeed.
