normaly with a laminating epoxy resin.
you need a good liquid epoxy, or even there is people who are using CA glue to do it (even on competition F3K gliders).

in my old binary, i used a mid cure epoxy. it was not enough liquid, but the result was not so bad...

thanks for the reply, that should be enough for me to figure it out but...

can anyone recommend specific adhesives for this build? I was thinking...

and

You guys think that epoxy would be ok for the fiber strips? or maybe the CA?

with CA, you must take care and pratice before trying to glue your wing...

my binary 900 was glued with this one:

but it was a mistake. This one is better but not so hard, maybe a little flexible:

my predator was glued with it without any problem

Thanks lebenj! Im doing my best to take my time and make sure I have all the right tools before I start slapping the thing together lol. Ive got plenty of time before the snow clears here in MA to perfect this build. Its going to be a very delicate build, Im slightly intimidated! Ill post back when I get everything and start the build.

don't worry and take your time.
the binary 900, is well designed for the wing and pod union...
if you follow the build pictures of the thread, it will be perfect.
just take care about the aileron servos.
if i could build mine again, i would cut the fixation legs of the servos to get it as small as possible.
then i would glue it where the wing is bigger.... and more in the middle of the wing.
then i would glue a bigger GF pad (or even CF pad).
the only defect i found on this glider is that the wing tend to delaminate with the time....

I glued my wing halves together with Loctite Hysol, and then used 30 min epoxy for the glass cloth. Wing servo pockets were cut exactly to match the servos, holds them in place tightly with just the cover vinyl to keep them there (not glued in). But use quality servos in the wing and tail.. better resolution for small flap/aileron adjustment.

Harry,

Do you guys sell the wings as a seperate item? Had an oops with mine and damaged the wing quite badly. I will try and repair, but suspect it won't fly as well as it used to.

Just bought a Binary 900 V2. That's a Predator 2 and a B900 now I have to build, lack of workbench has been the issue but should be resolved next week.

On my Predator the Ailerons are pre cut.. On the Binary this is not the case, anyone got any good ideas on how to make this neat and easy. I really hate daggy looking finishes on anything I build so would like it to look like the Preadtors cnc milled aileron cuts.

Also, has anyone added a rudder on the B900 V2 ? Surely for the weight of another servo it would be worth it.

Cheers
