This one does NOT seem to be correct. Controls are erratic, gyro effects are all wrong too.
Can someone please tell me the correct motor > header configuration for flipboards,
because Im not looking forward to doing this all blind again.

I'm also getting some heat problems from these bloody simonK ESCs again,
this time with motors that are much smaller and no rubbish connected to the BECs.
So it cant be anything else but these ESCS being complete bullsheite..
And this guy I bought em from isnt responding to his emails..
Why cant anything ever go right for me the first time..
It's been a long time since i try to fly a VTail.
The image i did was true on standar VTail config and Y4 config. I know there was a lot of changes made in VTail config and you can reverse those since Kipkool added mixing in the Multiwii.

I think this is the most correct motor direction sine the yaw control is compiled beetwin the tourqe of tail motor push ans normal tail torque. Just reverse the yaw direction in multiwii config Yaw ditection =-1.

Your "finished" mini hunter has the props on wrong. I see both CW props on the left and both CCW on the right.

With MultiWii 2.1 code

If you enable Y4 mode, you set props like a normal Quad X

and you enable Yaw ditection =-1 (or invert D9 and D11 on board)

If you enable VTail4 mode, you set props like a normal Quad X too, but no need to reverse YAW.

VTAIL4 is my current setting, with 4 same motors and props.
DiaLFonZo & Bledi Hunter VTail : MultiWii Crius SE (1 min 37 sec)

Edit : Freakazoid can you take another picture or your rear props ? the front one seems well mounted, but I'm not sure about rear

Spotted, swapped, didnt fix a thing about the wrong motors responding to gyro movement though.
Props are now mounted as per AC's instructions, along with his modified firmware.

Yup, I have matched this picture..

..with the numbers on your diagram.

Ive checked realtime data and all stick inputs match with the labels in multiwiiconf.
So either the sensor is wrong, or the motors are plugged in wrong.

I have the USB connector facing forward and topside, this is how the flip is supposed to go I think?

I have AC's modified firmware (RC 2.1 r976), VTAIL4 is defined, as well as FLYDUINO_MPU.

Yes i just post the dirrection a post up..

When you move the board, does the Multiwii GUI show the right movements ?
If so, it's not a sensor orientation problem.

Can you post a picture of your rear tail up close ?

One thing i have see some time is, the prop on the back where mounted backward.
Don't know how to express myself on that, but the prop, if the motor was a starndard one, would have the lettering up.
On the tail it need to keep that but motor reverse.. I think all i said is just confusing.. lol

Maybe someone can explain it better in english than me

i think what you mean is, if you look up on the model from above, all props must have the text facing upwards to you?

Yes exacly. (If any text is there)
Sometime, i see people putting props reverse on the back like the motor was up like the front.

normally there are at least numbers on it to show what prop it is ( for example: 8045)

That's the right picture for props orientation.
You can test roll-pitch-yaw direction by holding in hand overhead. If they sense wrong then just reverse motor.Better to test one motor at a time to avoid confusing.Rear props must have label face up ie: 8X4.5 must be visible wnen looking at it.Don't forget to do FC calibration more than one time.
