GWS262 came with the wrong screws??
Good morning,
I bought a gws262 kit a while ago that came complete with the 20x28mm 3900kv brushless engines..but I`m unable to attach the engines to the fan unit because the supplied screws don`t fit into the engines (too big)... I read the review by Mike Llewellyn, it seems I`m not the only one with this problem, would anyone out there know what size screws I need to fix this? thanks a bunch! steve |

Double check to make sure the motors are actually threaded. I have seen a few where the threads were not cut in. Just a smooth bore hole! As for the size of the screws I am sorry and cannot remember exactly. I am on my 9th GWS 262 kit so I just find some screws in my screw box You know if I would learn to keep these things light and moderate power they would probably last longer for me....but it's so much fun going fast! |
