ARTR Kilo class question

Hi gang, I am a COMPLETE newbie to r/c subs, but the ARTR/RTR Kilo class sub has REALLY caught my fancy. I found a couple on Ebay. One is 1/144 scale and one is 1/72 scale.

BEFORE I BUY- I want to run this past some real r/c sub guys to make sure this is not too good to be true!

Obviously, the 1/144 scale is bound to be much smaller than the 1/72 scale, but I can't get a firm idea of the overall length of either in my online research. The closest I've come is seeing some guy's hand holding the 1/144 scale Trumpeter Kilo in a Youtube video. Anyone know the sizes of these respective boats?

Finally, take a look at this eBay listing. This legit??

The picture seems to show all the electrics pre-installed. The description reads "RTR" but specifies "WTC. (Air Pump System)". So I don't know if that means I'm only getting the WTC tube with the electronics. Am I supposed to go out and buy the Trumpeter Kilo class model kit after getting the item in this listing?

Meanwhile, over HERE, there is a 1/72 scale Kilo out of Singapore for a scant $1500.

Again, recognizing that the 1/72 scale one is gonna be larger, that's STILL quite a price increase! And it says "ARTR". Needs ESC, RX and of course battery.

My hunch tells me that the 1/72 scale model is more complete in terms of coming with the hull, WTC and everything.

But what do you guys say?

I might still prefer the smaller sub as I can certainly build the Trumpeter kit, but on the other hand, I might be able to scratchbuild my OWN shell if I had a complete equipment chamber, ya know?

I would like the Kilo to be my first R/C sub. Been into R/C boats and airplanes for several years already.

Kilo submarine specs.
Depends on which real boat is modeled.
Length 70 m or 74 m.

Length 70 m = 19.80" @ 1/144 or 38.17" @ 1/72.
74 m = 20.17" @ 1/144 or 40.33" @ 1/72.

Beam 9.9 m = 2.67" @ 1/144 or 5.33 @ 1/72.
The 1/72 shows a length of 1025 making the boat the 74m boat.
