I've actually seen the 45c ones on sale once or twice- but you're right, it's much more common to see the 25c ones listed for cheap.

I've noticed a lack of run time lately, maybe down too 2 or 2 1/2 minutes before she won't hold herself up anymore. I don't think its batteries though. I have 5 almost new e-flite 45c bats and no matter how newly charged, she loses power after about 2 mins. I've heard the motors can poop out quickly. I've probably got 30 flights since new. I'm thinking motor. Anyone else? Also notice that some times I have to flick the prop to make it move. I've cleaned the 2 gears at the shaft but still acting up. Any ideas are greatly appreciated. Thanks, Smitty

If you have to flick the prop and it is not the gearbox, very likely the motor needs replacing. Check out micro-motor-warehouse.

That sounds like a motor issue from how you're describing it. (Flicking the prop, etc.) Odd. I've gotten fantastic lifetime out of my motor. (Still stock, still sounds clean as a whistle)

You probably will need to replace the motor- and be sure to let it cool down in between flights. (You mentioned you had several batteries- make sure not to run them back to back.)

I thought so much. Ya, I always wait a few in between. I have quite a few planes and quads (21)at least count, so there's always one waiting . Looks like Benedikt will get some more of my money!! Thanks guys.

$75 for like new?

I tested it once, it flew like nothing I have ever flown. Too fake.

It's sat for a year in the box.

You should be able to incorporate hovering at almost any point in your flight, I don't think any particular times are better than others. Except, do it low

EPP foam nose rebuild

So anyone do some mods to repair/make the front stronger? What are you using?
I don't have any epp foam but do have CF rods and balsa wood. just hoping you guys have come up with a neat repair before I start experimenting.

Thanks
If you look on page 146, #2187 of Mar 9 2014, you will see an EPP rebuild (mod) of the nose area. It is bullet proof and will give you many flights and crashes without problems.
