Cool
X-Wing - Maiden Flight!

Decided to give the X-Wing a try.

I am not quite happy with the body yet. It is already pretty complicated. Not sure i like it.

But it looks pretty good.

30" Span. Not going to move the wings. Elevator on the back, 4 Ailerons, Might add a rudder.

I am thinking i am going to need to box in the fuse at the wings. If i do i will lose the center vertical in the back, or maybe i will make that the rudder.

Anyhow, enjoy!

Would the A wing be a better model? The rudder is already incorporated into
the design, and fuselage is a somewhat of a more aerodynamic lift producing
shape.

Umm...what can I say but AMAZING! I think it would be worth taking the extra time and building it the way you show it because it looks so much cooler.

I'd love to try the B-wing!

That'd be a challenge!

Atra - A wing is actually too easy i think. I never do full fuse stuff because they take sooo long to build. But as a profile plane the A-Wing is just a pizza box flier. Plus there have been a few people to build them already.

Cosmic - I already designed a B-Wing! I haven't even attempted to build it. http://www.rcgroups.com/forums/showt...0#post10116233
IT would be totally unstable i think.
