Unusual European receiver.
I had built a quad from german kit eight years ago. It flew great but then was sidelined and forgotten.
The receiver was European 'act dsl-4top receiver' with a single 4 wire output to the flight controller.
I would now like to update this quad using my OrangeRx R615X receiver, which has the 3 wire single cable 'PPM' output.
The outputs are:
Pin 1 GND <--> Pin 7 (GND)
Pin 2 TXD <--> Pin 3 (RXD1)
Pin 3 RXD <--> Pin 4 (TXD1) optional
Pin 4 +5V <--> Pin 2 (+5V)
Is there any way to connect this leaving out pin 3 which the documentation indicates as being optional? I mean: If I do this will it work?
