Dear Adrian,

The problem is not the format of the .cut files, but what is generated by profili.

If your wing has a lot of taper, the solution is often to cut it as two separate panels. Another solution is to rotate the wing. There is a utility for doing that on the CNCNET web site.

Also, I'd like to understand better what Profili is putting out, so that I can perhaps get it to work. Can you give me a bit more detail about what is not working with Profili's output?

I have no idea of what profili is doing. A .cut file is just a set of absolute coordinates and the time to go from one point to the next one.

Thank you very much Gilles! I looks like we might have the problem sorted out. I couldn't see any specific problem in the Profili file, but a dry run on a trial version of GMFC on another machine that is not connected to the network seems to be producing better results.

I will let you know if I can pin it down.

hi im alberto from italy,is some years that i used gmfc and i love it,i have a lot of files,p51,p40,extra330,iecc i want know somebody who wants change files so we can cut different planes this is p 51a,i must finish..extra and f4u...

updated to the latest ver. And I get a error USB 4.
And the speeds are off from cutting with trimming and no trimming

For USA customers I only have V2's in stock so it's not an issue. Gilles will figure out if there is a problem with the V1 and the latest update and fix it if need be.

Mel,

The GGC V1 is no longer sold and has been replaced by the GGC V2 which offers better performance. Check with Dan in the US and Copaero elsewhere.

I'm trying to cut a fueslage section and have drawn the sections that I need. They both have the same number of points (160) and the same start point but I can't get them to cut because the software tells me I have a differing number of points. Any suggestions?
