motor as a generator

hey everyone,

so I'm working on building a portable human powered generator. its going to working via pull cord (like a lawn mower) where the human pulls a string to spin the generator.

since i want this device to be as small and lightweight as possible i figured using a motor that was originally made for drones would be the perfect fit.

my question is what specs should i be looking to find the best motor for my application. since its going to be in the low rpms i figure one with low kv would be best. however if I'm trying to get one that will also give me the highest current output what should i be looking for?

should i get the one with the most poles? so far 22 poles is the highest one I've found. also is the no load current rating important to me? i see many have 0.5 amps/10 volts on the spec sheets.

thanks for all your help!!!

best,
ita
