Our field is the exact opposite. I took my 70 gasser out and it did not start after three flips and the guy asked me if I was having problems.

I must get 10 flights for there one, probably more.

I have only had the 57 in the air. My goal is to have the ef in the air this weekend and I can let you know if you want me to. The 57 is just plain great. I thought it flew very slow but would let you put the hammer down on it. It could be my favorite plane for sure.

I don't see how you would go wrong with the 57.

What do you think of the ef?

Thanks, think there could be some flames on the cowl of the 57 soon.

I would have to agree with this. The 57" Extra is quickly becoming my favorite plane. It can be slow and floaty or a violently fast demon if you want it to be.

Plus - it just does whatever you tell it to. I don't have the EF Extra by the way... just my thoughts on the 57" Extra!

I DO have the EF 60" Edge and it's a great plane as well.

Here are some pics my buddy Hank, former F-14 pilot, sent me from LA.

His buddy owns a beautiful Extra and he was fortunate enough to "Fly Low" for some formation shots.

Enjoy!

mine came with a separate electric motor box that you bolt to the firewall.
