Yup I got the 200qx also, my favorite quad!! I would still do the trade if I was you. Even if it hangs on the wall for a while. Always good to have another plane .

@principe:
Glad to hear your maiden went well! I can't wait to get mine over with . Like you, I'm a little nervous but, I think it'll be fine. Between weather and being sick, I just haven't had the chance. If it wasn't for my Sim I'd be batso crazy by now!
Happy flying,
Smitty

i love her!!!!!!
a little sun and a little bit (too much) wind, but everything was ready and i had to go!
first of all thanks everybody BUT especially to Mike: sure i'm making little adjustement but your setting has been a GREAT help.
i must admit was nervous when launching for the first time (grass field so i took away the wheels)and even though i check many times the elevator the plane goes a little bit up and i had to trim down a little and adjust also the position of the battery (full centered by now)
powerful - taking altitude in a while - great rudder movements and different respect my umx beast and sbach 3d.
when you put throttle down to zero and just keep elevator on the INVERZA stays in the air, and flyies, not trying to go down like a little rock like the beast (that i adore, anyway).
of course she's the biggest plane i ever flew with, but seems to me more similar to the bigger balsa plane than to the little micros i was accustomed (sorry if i said something stupid).
because of the wind i did'n do much, but nice loops, rolls vertical ascent, cuban eight and half reverse cuban 8 were great not so clean because of me, nervous and the wind, but the sensation was that the plane really flies great!!!
wow i kept my breath for 5 minutes and the time passed really quickly.
now i joined the club, and feel myself a member like you all
Good work, welcome to the club. What a nice place you have to fly. The grass really looks soft just in case you have an "unscheduled landing". Keep up the good work.

Even though the UMX Sbach is my goto airplane, I think the UMX Yak 54 maybe slightly better at dealing with nose impacts and 3-D flight. The UMX Pitts is easier to fly if you are not looking for a 3-D airplane.

thanks Mike.
you can imagine how happy i feel now.
what about batteries? i used ZIPPY but in future wanna try MINIAVIATION: the ones 300 mAh for the umx (sbach and beast) are really great, hope the same with the 450 they arranged specially for the EDGE 540QQ.
talking about landings.. i never had so small rates of elevator and aileron but i must admit it works and landing was really smooth and precise 😎

I remember that Miniavaition batteries were a good choice in Europe. I used custom made batteries by a RC Groups member RC Babbel. Here is a link to his "BabbleBatts" site. http://www.rcgroups.com/forums/member.php?u=54990Not sure if he can ship to Europe or not. Makes great batteries from top quality parts. Specializes in batteries for the Inverza and UMX planes. I use his Hyperion 550 mAH batts.

Yeah im still gonna get the inverza cause the deal im getting is great but definitely not just gonna go out and fly it. Either way is there anything I should do to it to make it better/fly better. What batteries do most of you use.

I use 325 mA to keep the weight down. I suggest starting out smaller as it should make the plane a little easier to handle. Just make sure the CG is forward vs. aft. These planes are really twitchy when the CG is rearward.

Yeah I watched a video and the kid said he puts the battery back for 3d and forward for normal flight. How about rates. I read something like 70rates and 50 expo for aileron. 70 rates and 40 expo for elevator. And 100 rates and 30 expo for rudder.

Good point. The BabbelBatts are 44grams. If you are refering to the TP 325's they come in at 32 (?) grams. A fair amount of extra weight in the BabbelBatts. I would like a lighter plane.

I believe I am just using the stock program set for DX8 downloaded from Spektrum. I pretty much fly only on the 100% rates setting but certainly not recommended for first flight.

Yes, the TP325's. I got 6 of them when I bought the QQ Edge. I charge them at 6C so I can be flying at the drop of a hat. I get about 4 minutes of flight time doing mostly harrier and some short hovers and they and up at 3.85V.

I dont have a spektrum tx. I have a devo 10 so I cant download that file. Ive never set up my own plane model only downloaded someone elses file for the sport cub s. So If you have any info on how to set up this plane it would be appreciated.

Well I have no idea how to setup a devo 10 but you certainly don't need more than 50% travel on any of the control surfaces to fly this plane.

Ok so start at 50% travel. And how about expo. Maybe 60% on aileron, 50% on elevator and 40% on rudder? Do you know the channel assigments for the controls. Is it 1.throttle 2.aileron 3.elevator 4.Rudder
