I just ordered one. Iduno, but I think they just now came out with the brush-less version, and they don't have them in stock yet (late October).

I have been wanting a 2 Meter brushless balsa glider for a long long time, but never committed because of fabricating a motor mount. This comes with the motor/spinner/prop already installed. Just install servos/RX/battery and go fly. I have a bunch of 3s 2200 lipos already (they recommend 1800).
I realize it's a promo video ,but it shows it going straight up.
Tower Hobbies Vista Brushless ARF (1 min 16 sec)

Hopefully I will have it in the air before it gets really cold here. we usually have some good days into December. But with nice days in the winter usually comes wind. We will see.

I just got the regular electric version. Should have waited another month. I might just pick up another one because it's brushless. I think they come out late oct.

It thermals very well. I understand the frustration with backorders at times. It's difficult to pinpoint arrival dates for many reasons. Sometimes shipping, many times it's customs, but they're finally in stock, and I plan to get one myself when we thaw back out around april . I flew it for the promotional video, and that is indeed the stock power system. the battery was what I had in my box at the time, a 25C flightpower 3S/2100 . The vertical launch is merely letting it go, no push at all.

Mine is on the way for 129.99 plus I'm being charged 10 dollars shipping.
Of course the websight now shows them for 129.99 with FREE shipping.
I emailed Tower, and instead of a refund,I get a credit on my next purchase
Looks like winter is set in for good around here though. I'm a "fair weather " flier, but if I get a chance i will get it in the air.

Fred, take that credit and join the Tower Super Saver Club for $10 a year and you get free shipping all year round for any order over $99. You also get exclusive members coupons that are a bit better than the ones available to the general public.

I'm not a huge fan of Tower hobbies. They would have probably refunded my 10 dollars if i cried a little louder, but i will get something else from them in the future. They havn't done anything bad to me. But they tend to buy out smaller companies, and then turn around and discontinue their stuff. They remind me a little of Walmart. I am not a Walmart fan either.
I usually get stuff from Advantage Hobby. You can get free shipping there by spending 60 dollars, and you don't have to join a club.
Problem is,I'm an RC addict, and i buy from everyone, and I should probably take your advice

I got mine in fine shape. My first impression is good.
It doesn't look like there is much to do at all to get it in the air. With this being a 4 day weekend. I am gonna try to get it ready to fly.
We'll see
