I can see a large bird swooping down and grabbing it right out of the air!

Nice, but beyond my price range.

I'd love to fly one over the Central Park Ramble. That's a hot spot for bird watchers, especially during spring migration. They're all out there with binocs and DSLR's with huge lenses and I can imagine the excitement that something unidentifiable would cause.

We are spoiled in NA regarding pricing (Even before HK came along!). It just cost a little bit more than mass produced offerings and very distinctive!

I like it, ptereo designs are cool, mines hanging on the wall may have to revisit thrust vector setup for left and right like these...

Note that these products are made in France, not China...

The RX is a Deltang RX35N. Any Spektrum TX should work with it.

Here's what you can get in the USA for $69+shipping $7.00, using a Vapor brick, twin motors (I think 7mm brushed) with 2.25" props, you can even put small green LED lights in for the eyes(which is really cool), 18"ws,26grams,and v-tail for control. .pteroworks.com/ptero_micro.htm
Flies like a charm and very stable for indoor an outdoor with lite winds. Easy to make. Why go all the way to France and pay all that money and shipping(that'll kill the deal there) when we can get a better one here. Not saying that it's not cool or what, matter of fact I think it's nice but very pricy for thrust vectoring. Good idea but now step up to the plate and make it like the one here. Then you'd be onto something.
They also make really BIG ones to if you want to scare the nieghbors with a Ptero flying around. LOL

It looks like they drop a wing to bank very good idea "very cool". Be cool to add another servo to rotate the angle of attack for better climb and for diving. Or pull the wings back for diving and farward for climbing so many ideas!
