I agree regarding the UMX retracts - but a guy's gotta dream, right??

Nitrocharged was working on a set some time ago. He had a 3D printed prototype working fairly well on the bench, but I'm not sure if it was strong enough for general use.

Even the flaps may be stretching it, but I would certainly buy a UMX with working flaps.

OTOH, an airplane like the UMX Sbach might be able to lift 2 more servos.

The UMX Carbon Cub SS already has very effiective flaps. With a stout pack, power-to-weight is so high that it can hang on the prop. It can also carry its own EW in payload & still have enough reserve power to a loop from level flight - even on floats!

Given the above, flaps would not be a stretch for a 2s bl UMX fighter or a scale aerobat such as the Super Chipmunk.

My Sbach had retracts from day 1 - I took them off . eddie

Haha do you mean it had hand operated retracts? Or in other words, removable landing gear.
