electric motor direction

I have recived some new speed 400 motors from FMA and i was going to break them in acording to the instructions in the FAQ section. My question is if i break this motor in in tractor rotation will it work in pusher rotation or will it need a new breakin? Or once it has had a breakin in one direction should it be ran in that direction only? Also is it timed for either direction?

Break in seats the brushes which means the brush sits nicely up against the commutator. There are slight variations in alignment depending on rotation, but that's not too much of a concern with a speed 400 motor. A couple of minutes at reduced throttle - no prop - in the intended run direction before installation and it will be fine.
