need to loose wight on my fy680

Just got my 6cell 10000 batt.. and also using a 3 cell lipo for lights gimbal and so on. can i use this to get 12v out of y main 6 cell batt??

Yes, that should work but make sure you don't go over 2 amps. At 12 volts that is 24 watts you have to work with.

I am wondering about this same thing.... except I need something to handle a constant 6-7a of draw. Am I stuck with running a seperate battery or do you know of anything that will work?

Now im lost.. thaks for answer. using led light gimbal and fpv.. does that go over 2 amp..This is not my stongest side..

Ohms law. Volts times Amps equals Watts (V x A=W).

You can use a good quality voltmeter with an amp setting to figure out what the amp load is on each item. Then add up the items to figure out your total load. You may be able to find a wattage used number and from the manufacture and from there be able to figure. If you know the voltage, it is easy to out amps if you have the watts or watts if you have the amps using ohms law.

I learned ohms law in 7th grade radio/electricity class. That was one of the best classes ever!
