The centering is great! So far I think they are a great servo! We'll see how they hold up. And, yes, I'm running them on 6v and they are noticeably faster than the 225mg's.

I am using my 11ms mode on my dx8 with them also.

I'm sure Trill would be happy with either airframe. In the couple of flights I have had on my on 58" edge, I did not notice what you described above, so maybe the point is moot! Buy whichever scheme you like the best!!!

I have the EF mxs on motrolfly 4315 4s - if I had to start over I would go with a 6s setup on it (but I had a whole bunch of 4s packs that I wanted to make use of). It is great at 3d and precision in light wind or calm, but too light in wind at 5.2-lbs. Judging by wamsy's vid - the edge 58 likes the 4s setup also, just wondering how it is in 5-10 mph wind.

Only edge I have had is a 3dhs 41 and I liked it once I got used to some of the difference in rolling manuevers. Feel like there is a dampening effect when you pull up and start rolling, the speed bleeds off and u don't stall, vs extra or slick wings, hence the ability for smooth stable harrier turns at speeds slower than extra's or slicks. At least it feels that way to me.

Looks like your Edge is flying nice and light The Sky 4S 4000 packs you're using, are they 30C or 40C? There's about a 66 gram difference between the two.

I'm thinking about a 6s motor for the 58" Edge to avoid adding weight to the front of the airframe. Some have reported needing to add weight to the front of the plane in order to balance it. I don't like adding dead weight to a fine 3D plane.

Anyone run both a 4s and 6s setup on the 58" Edge? What's the pros and cons on perfomance with a 4s versus 6s setup?

only 4s3300 here...and I have never added weight for it to balance. Batt fits in the forward 1/2 of the motorbox/battery tray.

I started with a torque 6s setup with 3300 nanotecs. Then I switched to a 4s setup. The 6s was great because It was a bit heavier but the difference is marginal. I can still balance the 4s 4000 battery but it is on e firewall and a pain in the butt to get mounted. I actually preferred the 6s flight characteristics better because it carried it's energ better in tumbles and was a little bit easier on my esc. All that said, i have a great torque motor for sale and a NIP airboss elite 80A ESC if you are interested.

What's the power sweetspot for this model? 1200watts?
