Any spinner suggestions for the orange plane?

both Extreme Flight and 3dhs look to be out of stock on the black 2.5in.

I have and LOVE my 55" Extra SHP but...I'm doing some thinking...

Knock on wood my SHP doesn't bit the dust, BUT when the day does come that it gets sold/replaced...

Would a Reaper GR60 on 4S and 5S fly this plane well with some HS225? I can make just about 1Kw on what I'm runnin now and the servos feel and seem really solid to me but I'm no expert.

So it would be sufficient? My SHP is gettin close to 5LBs right now and I really enjoy the way it flies.

Simple formula to keep in mind for electric 3D:

It takes about 150 watts per pound of airplane to 3D, and most experienced 3D pilots will want 180-200 watts/pound for excellent performance.

What do you guys think about a power 32? I have that and other hardware I salvaged out of a opps. I believe there are people using it in the 57sc? And this looks to be a lighter plane.

Sounds nice, one of my coworkers had this problem on helicopter. I'll wait till the plane is closer but if this new motor is out I might give it a try.

Thanks for the heads up KM. Looks like I'll have to pick up some stick on lead weights on my next visit to the auto parts store. Nobody likes to add weight, but if I have to I will. I will still end up with a lighter plane than going with a larger motor since I can mount the weight in the forward part of the cowl. Should require slightly less weight since that's somewhat ahead of the motor (trying to stay positive ). Could always move the rudder servo to the battery tray!

Either way it takes a couple of extra weeks to get my airframes up to Canada. You guys will have it all figured out by then I'm sure.

Any thoughts about going 5-6s in the 2650-3000 mAh range?
