Climb aboard and fly co-pilot as Howard Hughes demonstrates the airworthiness of his Spruce Goose in front of a crowd of spectators Saturday noon at the Northern California Regional Float Fly.

This is a beautiful event with great camping on the shady, cool waters of Lake Red Bluff. Get a nice look at the area from the onboard video and see if you can make out Howard's image in the cockpit reflections

I've only just recovered from that scary on-board video from your maiden flight, back at the little pond with the plane-eating trees all around.

This one looks absolutely manageable, gentle and true. Some fairly tight turns though. And was that a landing? I didn't notice it.

As they say, being born is the most dangerous thing we ever do. After that it's plain sailing.

Would be a perfect video if you mixed in some video or even stills taken from the ground. You really should do this as its worth it!!!
