I only have experience with the F-16. It easily gets stuck in high alpha stalls under power and also pitches up noticeably on throttle increase. The high alpha stall is very easy to enter if you launch with too much throttle or too high of an angle.
It's other flying characteristics seem fine for a first EDF to me, but I can't recommend it. |

![]() Fits perfect in that spot. In the Mig-29, the lipo gets moved forward about a half inch to clear the rear of the canopy. You can use smaller lipos by just placing them more forward in the battery compartment. They really did a good job on these twins. |
