EPS foam in EDF jet models
Tried the search function but couldn't find the answer, so I hope you can help me.
Why are some EDF jets still made from EPS foam when most airplane models now are molded from EPO?
Is EPS better for EDFjets than EPO?

It's very light weight, cheap and easy to make changes to. Not as crash worthy of course as EPO!! However, the standard EDF is not very crash worthy no matter what the construction - fans explode and fast thin wings shatter when you pile EDF's into the ground. So EPS derivatives can still be of use for some.
If I'm going to glass a foam model I actually prefer working with EPS as a base for modifications and glass work. If I'm going to pull a completed ARF out of a box and fly completely unmodified, then EPO has advantages.
