Me too
I am seriously doubting whether to wait or buy the 9x... this one will work with my v929 and v939 quads....
What would you do?

Have you heard about a flysky module for the 9xr?

The 9xr will have a JR type module bay. Just like the one in the 9x. According to HobbyKing, standard modules, like the FlySky one, should slot right in and just work. *dYou can buy a FlySky module separately. It usually costs around 20 dollars. It doesn't matter if the module is called Eurgle or Flysky. They are the same thing.

It's on my post a few pages back. When they had the server issues I asked and HobbyKing said they were going to release it before the 15th Dec, but for some reason they deleted the server issue post :-/

Hopefully that was added as a "Better safe than sorry" entry rather than a possible necessity.

I just hope that they make a million of them so that they're not immediately put onto back ordered status!

HK is trying to release the 9xR as quietly as possible so they don't get backlogged... as their production is pretty slow right now.

They won't be doing a video or announcement or anything, just putting it on the new items page.

Anyone dare to make a guess if the 9XR could be made to work with the devo protocol?
