Help!
Need some help to ID a plane

Hi I wasn't sure if this is the right place to post but recently I was given an airplane and I don't really know what it is the guy I got it from said it is a So Long Old timer but when I looked it up it didn't look anything like it. The plane has been converted to electric and was an old free flight kit designed to fly with a .020 any help would be great.

The people at Vintage RC Society would probably ID it in a minute. http://www.vintagercsociety.org/cms3/

Also, you can try the RCGroups Vintage and Old Timer Design Forum

Cute plane, interesting shell of a cowl, not hard to do.

Thanks I was hoping to get the plans for it so I could try my hand at building another one.

Also, check the wingspan and then search on outerzone.co.uk. Use the Search / Advanced / Tag Matrix or / Advanced Search where you can specify a range of wingspans. Doesn't take long to see if it pops up...

Actually, it probably wouldn't be known as fast to VRCS as the Society of Antique Modelers - SAM. They have been helpful to me in the past ID'ing unknown airplanes.

PS here is a search on OZ between 25 and 35 inch WS, IC powered, Cabin type:

Miss America? Or variant thereof?

The 42" MA has a different landing gear style than what you are holding.
It does have the distinguishing 3 side windows.
But close.
